MODALIZER+’s Local Archive can store all the imaging studies, both acquired and retrieved, in standard compatible DICOM files on your hard disk.

Built-in DICOM Listener: The software includes a built-in DICOM listener, a crucial component for receiving imaging studies from other DICOM-enabled devices. The DICOM listener allows MODALIZER+ to communicate with other medical imaging equipment, such as MRI, CT, or ultrasound machines, that have DICOM storage capabilities. This ensures seamless integration and transfer of imaging data between devices and the Local Archive.

Ideal for Small Clinics: The Local Archive is particularly suited for small clinics, offering a convenient and efficient solution for storing all your imaging studies. Whether these studies are directly acquired through MODALIZER+ or imported from other sources, they are securely stored on your local hard disk. This makes it an excellent choice for clinics that may not have the infrastructure for a full-scale PACS but still require reliable and accessible storage for medical images.

Standard DICOM Compatibility: By storing all imaging data in DICOM format, MODALIZER+ ensures that your data adheres to the international standard for medical imaging information.

For clinics and facilities that have a PACS or RIS server, MODALIZER+ integrates with these systems. Read more about MODALIZER+ PACS and RIS Integration.
